Had a free Google website?
Google turned those off in 2024.
The free websites that came with Google Business Profiles shut down in 2024. Your listing still shows up on Maps; the website it pointed to doesn't. We'll build you a real one at your own address, and nobody can switch it off on you.
How it works
Four steps, start to finish.
We sell this the old way: in person, and because somebody told you about us.
We meet
In person, somewhere in the Twin Cities that works for you. Tell us what you do, who your customers are and what they need to find.
We build it
About three to five pages: what you do, who you are, where you are and how to reach you. Built for phones first, because that's where your customers are.
You check it
You look over the draft and tell us what's off. We fix it before anything goes public.
It's yours
It goes live at your own domain, in your name. $750, and no bill shows up next month.
Pricing
Three prices. That's the list.
You'll know what a change costs before you ask for it.

What a small website costs over three years
Builder figures are 36 months at their published monthly prices, rounded. Web shop figure is the usual starting price on local design firms' own sites.
Our work
The first sites are being built now.
This is where the portfolio goes. We'd rather leave it honest than fill it with stock photos of laptops.
If you'd like your business to be one of the first Mill City sites, say hello.
I'd like to be oneReal estate agents
A site that moves with you.
Your brokerage page stays behind when you change brokerages. A site at your own domain goes with you, and links to your brokerage's listing search.
Questions
Fair questions
Why so cheap?
Because the sites are small and plain on purpose. A static site has no database, no plugins to patch and nothing that needs babysitting every month. And it's just the two of us: no office, no sales team, no ad budget. We charge for the work, not the overhead.
Can I edit it myself?
Not the way you would on Squarespace or Wix. There's no drag-and-drop editor. Most small business sites change a few times a year, so you email us and a small change is $125. If you want to tinker with your site every week, a do-it-yourself builder is the better fit, and we'll tell you so.
Who owns it?
You do. The domain is registered in your name and the site's files are yours. If you ever want to take it somewhere else, you take all of it with you.
What about hosting and my domain?
Your domain (yourbusiness.com) is registered in your name. A .com usually runs about $10 to $20 a year, paid to the registrar, not to us. Small static sites are light, so hosting them costs little or nothing. We set it all up and walk you through it when we meet. We don't charge a monthly fee.
Can my real estate site show listings?
It links to your brokerage's listing search instead of running its own. Live MLS search is a monthly-fee product, and we don't sell monthly fees. More on the real estate page.
Do you only work in the Twin Cities?
Mostly, since we like to meet in person. If you're elsewhere in Minnesota, ask anyway.
